There are two deluxe accommodation styles at Terrace Downs. The 34 Terrace Villa Suites offering one, two and three bedrooms options with luxurious beds, a delightful raised spa bath, spacious open-plan living areas and stunning vistas up to Mount Hutt.
 
The stand-alone three and four bedroom Fairway Chalets are architecturally designed and landscaped within the front nine holes of the golf course. These beautiful chalets boast all modern conveniences and great indoor-outdoor living areas with stunning views over the golf course to Mount Hutt.
 
Activities:
Mount Hutt may excellent snowfields for skiing and snowboarding, however the spectacular Rakaia River upon whose edge Terrace Downs is located, is a superb location for salmon and trout fishing. The river also offers exhilarating Jet Boating.
 
Back on land, guests have many resort activities from which to choose. Clay pigeon shooting and archery are under professional supervision, as are horse-riding safaris. In addition, the surrounding forests are well stocked with game for those in search of trophies. For those wishing to do a little discovery, there are naturewalks, mountain biking and excursions to country cattle stations and farms in the surrounding High Lands. Terrace Downs is always pleased to arrange for private picnic at the many nearby natural hideaways.
 
Additional High Country activities that can be arranged from Terrace Downs cover a vast spectrum, from hot-air ballooning, wine tours, skydiving and photographic safaris to scenic helicopter flights. Tilley’s Bar & Brasserie is a great meeting spot for an informal lunch and dinner, offering a wide range of dishes and snacks.
